rabbittransit to offer free service during primary election

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — rabbittransit has announced that its Fixed Route service in York County will be free on Tuesday, April 23, during the primary election.

During Tuesday’s election, riders will not need to pay a fare or display a bus pass when boarding the bus.

The promotion comes through a partnership with Shiloh Baptist Church. rabbittransit says the church is subsidizing the fixed route bus fares for the day.

According to the company, the goal of the promotion is to give community members a convenient and affordable way to access local polling places.
