Police investigating after man’s body found in Boulder Creek

DENVER (KDVR) — The Boulder Police Department said a man’s body was found in Boulder Creek Friday.

Police and Boulder Fire-Rescue responded to the Boulder Creek path bridge near 9th Street just after 10 a.m. on a call reporting a man in the water.

When crews arrived, BPD said they found the man dead in the creek.

Police said there was no indication of foul play and there was no danger to the community.

The man has not yet been identified. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will identify the body and notify the next of kin. Police said the man will likely not be identified until next week. No further information was immediately available.
