According to an affidavit obtained by FOX31, Knight was driving a black BMW eastbound on 14th Street. Officers looked at HALO footage from the area and saw a white male wearing a white shirt use his hand to smash the driver’s side mirror of the BMW. Officers said the man was riding on a skateboard.

Denver police did not say what led to the altercation between the skateboarder and Knight.

After that, police said Knight intentionally drove the BMW the wrong way down 14th Street and followed a white man wearing a white colored sweatshirt on a scooter. Knight allegedly hit the victim with his car.
