Pine Bluff’s First Ward Living Grace Food Pantry holds food giveaway

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Spring break has arrived, and for some students that means it will be tougher to get a healthy meal this week.

In Pine Bluff, the First Ward Living Food Pantry held a food giveaway to help families fill that gap.

There was also a carnival and cookout and dozens of cars lined up in advance of Sunday afternoon’s event.

Pantry director Debra Allen said she is grateful for all of the help leading up to Sunday’s giveaway.

“Like I tell everybody, I know this is my dream, and all I do is pray so that I can make it come through,” Allen stated.
