The person in the crash allegedly drove a black “Wrangler-type” Jeep, the post said.

According to the post, the victim told officers the Jeep was missing the tire normally mounted on the back.

“If you were headed out to the beach and saw the crash,” the Facebook post said, “or when your neighbor (who drives a black Jeep with a missing black tire) came home that day, you said to yourself, ‘Hey, it looks like they were in a crash,’ please call Motor Officer Burn at 435-1946 and let him know.”
