PD: Man arrested for homicide by car while driving drunk
OVERFIELD TWP., WYOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Wyoming County sheriffs arrested a man who they say was wanted for homicide by a car while driving drunk.
The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was looking for Isaac J. Eiden, who had an active bench warrant after he didn’t show up for a formal arraignment.
On Wednesday officers saw Eiden in a car that left a house in Falls Township. Police say they pulled over the car and Eiden was found in the front passenger seat.
Woman loses $50,000 after online scam
Investigators stated the warrant is for a crash in Overfield Township, Wyoming County on August 13, 2023, where Edien is being charged with homicide by a motor vehicle while DUI.
17-year-old Abigail Messersmith died as a result of the crash. Eiden was originally released on $100,000 unsecured bail.
Eiden was arrested and taken to the Wyoming County Correctional Facility.
