One hospitalized in critical injury crash involving scooter, officers investigating

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Officials with the Salt Lake City Police Department said they are investigating a critical injury crash that happened in Salt Lake on Sunday night.

Officials said one person was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The incident occurred at 800 West North Temple, according to a social media post from SLCPD.

The driver involved in the incident stayed on the scene, and police said the patient was on an e-scooter.

Road closures are expected.

There is no further information at this time.
