Nashville motorcyclist killed in crash on Natchez Trace Parkway

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person was killed following a motorcycle crash on Natchez Trace Parkway Sunday evening.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said the crash happened around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 7 near Highway 100.

Jonathan Golden, 41, of Nashville, was riding his Yamaha motorcycle north on Natchez Trace Parkway when officials said he entered the exit ramp onto Highway 100 and lost control on the curve.

Witnesses reportedly told police Golden had been “traveling at a high rate of speed” just before the crash. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
