Moundridge Historical Museum vandalized over the weekend

MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. (KSNW) – Police are asking for the public’s help after the Moundridge Historical Museum was vandalized over the weekend.

According to the Moundridge Police Department, sometime over the weekend, the suspect(s) “unlawfully accessed” the museum’s electrical display building and significantly damaged multiple historical artifacts, specifically glass-made items.

“This act not only poses a threat to the preservation of valuable historical items but also undermines the collective efforts to uphold our community’s heritage,” said MPD.

MPD asks that anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity within the vicinity of the museum during March 23-25 to come forward. You can either contact the MPD directly or anonymously contact McPherson County Crimestoppers:
