Mobile Police identify Prairie Avenue homicide victim

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The man killed on Prairie Avenue Tuesday night has been identified as 26-year-old Jaylin Craig, according to a news release from the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to Prairie Avenue around 9:30 Tuesday night. The release said officers found two victims with gunshot wounds in two separate vehicles.

Officers arrived on the scene and found a man, now identified as Craig, in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, dead from a gunshot wound, according to the release.

The release said officers also located a male juvenile in a different vehicle with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for life-threatening injuries.
