Man hospitalized after gas station stabbing in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man has been hospitalized after being stabbed at a gas station in Fresno Wednesday evening, the Fresno Police Department announced.

Officers say they responded to the ARCO located in the area of Highway 99 and Olive Avenue in Fresno regarding a victim of a stabbing around 10:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, investigators say they located a man with a possible stab wound to his upper back area. He was provided with first aid and was transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Police say the victim is in stable condition and a possible matching suspect has been located.

This is an ongoing investigation.
