Man critically injured in Handsworth stabbing
A man has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in Birmingham.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at about 12:15 BST to Whitehall Road in Handsworth where they found the seriously wounded patient.
The ambulance service said paramedics immediately began administering advanced trauma care before conveying him to a major trauma centre at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
West Midlands Police has been contacted for comment.
