3 QUESTIONS
...about Vanderpump Villa
I asked Taryn Ryder, my entertainment colleague with an encyclopedic knowledge of the Vanderpump universe, to tell us about the new series in the franchise.
Lily: How does Vanderpump Villa compare to Vanderpump Rules?
Taryn: You can expect a similar format. It’s still following Lisa Vanderpump’s staff — just in a different location. The drama is moving from West Hollywood to French estate Château Rosabelle.
Lily: From what you’ve seen, what can we expect from the first season?
Taryn: Fights, hookups, beautiful scenery, beautiful people and classic Lisa Vanderpump snark. It might be more manufactured than VPR... but does that matter?
Lily: Do I need to watch Vanderpump Rules to understand it?
Taryn: No. You can dive right into this series. It is a different cast of characters entirely.
