Lisa Vanderpump’s upcoming docu-drama Vanderpump Villa takes viewers inside of a French château. Naturally, we’re eager to know everything about the luxury estate where The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s new venture unfolds. From where it’s located to if fans can book a stay, dive into everything we know about the glamorous location below.
First, What Is Vanderpump Villa About?
The Hulu series, which is slated to premiere in spring 2024, will follow Vanderpump's staff at a French estate called Château Rosabelle. They’ll work to provide guests with a top-tier stay in the countryside. When they’re not tending to guests, they’re free to enjoy the estate and inevitably become entangled in romances and rivalries. “You can do what you want behind the scenes, but when you're with the guests don’t get sloppy,” Vanderpump said in a teaser trailer. “This is not Chateau S–t Show.”
During Vanderpump Villa, the estate acts as a hotel and venue for guests where everything “from firework-filled proposals and opulent events” will take place, according to the show’s description. During all of this, Vanderpump will evaluate “whether this is the team to make her ‘pop up’ experience a permanent reality and add to her ever-growing empire.”
Where Is Château Rosabelle Located?
The countryside property known as Château Rosabelle in Vanderpump Villa is portrayed by Château St. Joseph, which is located in the commune of Mazerolles-du-Razès in the South of France. Built in 1879, the L-shaped castle is situated on 32 hectares of land made up of gardens, a large park, and a forest. The Haussmann-style building with foliage-covered exteriors operates as a dreamy hotel and event venue, which anyone can book for a stay, wedding, and more. The château interiors boast molded ceilings with rosettes and sparkling chandeliers, herringbone parquet floors, and pastel wallpapers and fabrics. There’s also a chapel, an orangery (yes, just like Taylor Swift's newest mansion!), a pool, a vast library, and a screening room. On-site activities include nature hikes and sports including badminton, zip-lining, and pétanque. Essentially, it has everything you could ever want in a vacation destination or magical backdrop.
