Honda Will Debut a Global Series of EVs at CESHonda
  • Honda says it will debut a new series of EVs at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.

  • Honda’s US EV offerings are currently limited to the Prologue crossover.

  • Honda did not disclose what type of vehicles will be included in this EV lineup.

If you thought Honda was resting on its EV laurels with the launch of the Prologue and Motocompacto, you’d be mistaken. Honda is going to reveal what the company calls a series of electric vehicles at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. While no one outside of Honda knows what exactly Honda will show, the company did provide a teaser.

Considering this news is coming months after Honda and General Motors parted ways on its affordable electric SUV collaboration, it’s somewhat surprising to see that Honda wants to reveal an entire series of electric or electrified vehicles at one of the largest technology shows in the United States.

The company will also unveil some new technologies that could help Honda hit its 100 percent zero-emission target of 2024.

In the above teaser image, it seems like at least one of the concepts of this prospective EV series will feature the popular retro-futurism trend found on other EVs like the Kia EV5. Of course, we won’t really know what this series, or any of these individual products, will look like until the sheets are pulled off at CES.

Honda plans on pulling back the curtains of these shrouded EVs on Tuesday, January 9, between 10:30 and 11:00 AM Pacific Time. However, if you’re attending CES and miss the reveal, you can swing by the Honda booth in the North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

If you aren’t going to attend, you can pop open the tab for the livestream here, or check back here on January 9.
