Little Rock Zoo talks about community days program for residents

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Little Rock Zoo is a place where families and friends can get together and make memories, and as a thank you to residents the zoo is introducing new programs.

Little Rock Zoo director Susan Altrui and Southern Bancorp Little Rock market executive Charles Blake joined KARK 4 News with more details on the new program Little Rock Community Days.

LR Zoo introduces programs to lower admission prices for easier visitation

Little Rock residents can now take advantage of a new program that will allow them to purchase a $2 zoo ticket with a valid driver’s license, state ID or utility bill. The specific days are March 30, June 1, Sept. 28 and Dec. 14.

Local residents will be able to interact with several animals, including Betty White the penguin.

The Little Rock Zoo hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the last admission at 3:30 p.m.
