GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Lincoln Park Pool is now open for the summer season.

Kids gathered for a private party Thursday and Friday the city celebrated the opening with a school’s out party for everyone that continues until Friday night.

Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Grand Junction Ken Sherbenou breaks down the different passes you and your kids can get to swim throughout the summer.

“We also have 20 punch card passes that are available as well as annual passes. We also have a summer pass that’s good for the entire summer, you can swim as much as you would like at the Lincoln Park Pool or the Orchard Mesa Pool, for the whole summer.”

Children swim free at Lincoln Park Pool on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays children get free entry with a paying adult.

Orchard Mesa Pool also has discounts on Sundays from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
