JSO: Man found unconscious in car with slash wound to chest

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was found unconscious with a chest wound on North Main Street.

According to the police report, officers responded to the area and found a man unconscious in a car with a wound to his chest. He was transported to UF Health Downtown in critical condition.

Evidence technicians have towed the car and are searching it and the area for evidence.

Anyone with information is asked to call JSO at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
