Description:
Attend consumer staffing and prestaffing as needed. Provide administrative support to WAT Coordinator. Develops ( in coordination with the consumer and the DARS DRS/DBS Counselor) an Individual Adjustment Plan (IAP) for each consumer.
Implements each IAP, including assignment of workstation and any development of a behavior modification plan. Monitors the IAP to determine progress toward identified goals. Reports to the DARS DRS Counselor on progress toward planned goals and objectives. Coordinates WAT with other services provided by the CRP. Provide a cover sheet and proper documentation for monthly billing. Obtain and maintain professional relationship with State and Local vendors.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, e.g., Education, Sociology, Social Services, or Liberal Arts and one year of full-time experience performing rehabilitation or adjustment; or an AA degree in a related field and 2 years of training/experience; possess computer skills ( Microsoft Office Suite, Excel/Outlook). A valid TXDL/driving record acceptable to agency liability carrier is required for this position. Strong written communication skills. Possess exemplary Customer/Consumer Service skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
Pay is $15 – $18 an hour – Full-time.
