Jeep stolen in Nanticoke found in Shickshinny

SHICKSHINNY, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— State and local police are investigating who stole a Jeep Wrangler in Nanticoke that was located in Shickshinny.

On April 15, state police said they were called about a Jeep Wrangler that was parked at the end of McKlintock Street in Shickshinny for an extended period of time.

Route 15 closed in Snyder County

When investigators found the red and black 1998 Jeep Wrangler, they say they learned it had been reported stolen out of Nanticoke Borough.

State troopers are now asking the public for help in identifying who may have stolen the car.

Anyone with information regarding the stolen Jeep is asked to call the Nanticoke Police Department at (570) 735-4000.
