Highway 501 South back open after crash near Highway 22

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — All lanes of Highway 501 are back open after a crash near the Highway 22 interchange slowed southbound traffic Friday morning.

At least two vehicles were involved in the crash at William Nobles Road. It happened shortly after 8 a.m., and one lane was blocked while emergency crews worked at the scene, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation.

No additional information was immediately available.
