Here's What Makes The New Porsche Panamera The Fastest Four-Door

From Road & Track

The 2017 Porsche Panamera should give you a pretty good idea of what's coming on all future Porsches.

It's their first all new car in a long time, meaning it has a new chassis, three freshly developed engines (including one that makes it the fastest diesel road car), a new 8-speed PDK, Porsche's next-generation interior design with touch control panels, a full aluminum body with high-strength steel/aluminum underpinnings, LED Matrix headlamps, the latest in semi-autonomous tech that works at up to 31mp.

Then, there's Porsche's magic 4D suspension, which basically dials every component of the car to the right settings in order to make the systems work together in perfect harmony. That means everything from the ride hight to the spring rates, the (rear) steering angle, the steering feedback, the engine and gearbox response, the brakes and the all-wheel drive's multiple-direction torque vectoring will be set to give you maximum speed and the most comfort in any given situation.

In my opinion, the 2017 car is vast improvement over the original. All we need now is the wagon version, with the same light bar please...
