The new business offers “gellyball” games. Gellyballs are like paintballs but are water beads instead, meaning they are pain and mess-free.

“GellyBall is a low-impact sport,” owner Tara Hart said. “It is similar to paintball and laser tag. It does not make a mess like paintball and it doesn’t hurt like paintball. You do know that you have gotten hit.”

The new business is located at 252 Broad Street.

“We just want people to come down to downtown Kingsport, play and have fun, play local, eat local, shop local, get your hair done, local, all that,” Hart said.

Gellyball Kingsport also has a mobile unit that can host games anywhere.
