Gaze In Wonder At This Massive Gathering of Tucker's Car of Tomorrow

The 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance had, like every year, a vast array of interesting and rarely seen cars. One addition in 2018 was a reunion of sorts for the Tucker 48, which was Preston Tucker's vision for the car of tomorrow. The car, considered radical and high-tech in the 1940s, ended up being a failure. Now it's rare and considered one of the most interesting cars of its era, a vehicle that makes historians wonder what the world would be like if it took off.

This year, 12 Tuckers were on the lawn at Pebble Beach. That includes the only one equipped with a Tuckermatic transmission, the infamous (or famous) Tin Goose prototype, and a test chassis with no bodywork on it. It was something else to see. Take a look:
