Foodmobile road-tripping through Champaign Co. this June

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — The Eastern Illinois Foodbank Foodmobile will be hitting the road on June 4 and 14 to help bring healthy food to underserved areas of Champaign County.

Specific sites and times for each town are listed here. The Foodmobile will pay a visit to southern Champaign County on June 4 and northern on June 14.

Champaign City Council opens applications for vacant seat

The road trip is part of the EIF’s Foodmobile Program, which aims to distribute healthy food to areas that need it most, including rural areas.

Pre-registration should be done at www.EIFclient.com, though it will not guarantee a place in line. EIF officials provided the following income eligibility guidelines:
