Fire hydrant installation closes street in downtown Bluefield, West Virginia

BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) — The installation of a new fire hydrant will temporarily close a street in downtown Bluefield, West Virginia.

Contractors to start work on road reconstruction project on West Virginia Turnpike

According to a Facebook post made by City of Bluefield Local Government, due to West Virginia American Water installing a new fire hydrant at the top of High Street on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, the road will be closed from Bland Street to the top of High Street.

The exact time that the road will be reopened is unknown, however City of Bluefield Local Government stated that the roads will open on the evening of Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
