Family Kingdom in Myrtle Beach to unveil 35 rides in 2024 kickoff
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Family Kingdom Amusement Park in Myrtle Beach announced the unveiling on Thursday of 35 rides, including the world famous “Swamp Fox” rollercoaster to kick off its 2024 season.
The celebration is set for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according to a news release, which called the wooden Swamp Fox rollercoaster a “must-ride attraction.”
Along with Swamp Fox, six other new rides will be introduced, including the Techno Jump, the Lunartic, the Vertigo, Kiddie Teacups, Samba Balloons and Crazy Cabs.
“We’re thrilled to kick off the season with our biggest opening weekend yet,” Owner and President Bill Prescott said. “With the addition of six new rides and the timeless excitement of the ‘Swamp Fox,’ we’re ready to create unforgettable memories for families and friends this summer!”
Family Kingdom is also offering an exclusive “locals” and military special throughout 2024, the release said. Those with proof of local residency can get a 50% discount/$25 on all-day wristbands, which grants unlimited access to all 35 rides and attractions.
