Rapper Polo G arrested on weapons charges following search at Manhattan hotel: NYPD

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Rapper Polo G was arrested on gun charges Wednesday at a Manhattan hotel, according to the NYPD.
A search warrant was executed at The Dominick Hotel, police said. The 25-year-old rapper, whose legal name is Taurus Bartlett, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and possession of a loaded firearm.

He had not been arraigned as of Thursday morning, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. Polo G has nearly 11 million followers on Instagram.
He was arrested twice on kidnapping, robbery, and assault charges in California last year, Rolling Stone reported.
