Apr. 24—Ector County ISD has scheduled a number of events for the end of this week and into next week.
— Thursday, April 25, 6 p.m. at New Tech Odessa, 300 E. 29th Street — Sextortion presentation for parents and staff
— Saturday, April 27, 9 a.m. — 11 a.m., at Ratliff Stadium — ECISD Wellness Walk and Family Health Fair
— Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. — noon at Lawndale Park, 9201 Rainbow Drive — Spring into Reading Bookworms Literacy Festival from the Education Foundation of Odessa and Chevron
— Sunday, April 28, ECISD Outstanding Teachers Picnic at the Midland RockHounds game. All of ECISD's campus teachers of the year are invited to attend and be celebrated during the afternoon.
— Tuesday, April 30, 5:30 p.m., Bond 2023 Oversight Committee meeting, ECISD Administration Building
— Tuesday, April 30, 5:30 p.m., Volunteer Appreciation Mixer, ECISD Administration Building
— Tuesday, April 30, 5:30 p.m., Summer Spark at Wilson & Young MS, 601 E. 38th Street — This event is designed to let parents know what resources are available to students this summer to keep their brains engaged and fighting the "summer slide"
