Delaware weather: First State gets taste of summer-like temperatures. Here's the forecast

Delaware is feeling a little bit of summer in April as warmer weather takes hold in the First State.

After a pleasant Sunday, temperatures will soar into the low to mid 80s across the state Monday with a chance of scattered storms this afternoon in the northern portions of the state, according to Accuweather.com.

The summer-like weather will hang around into Tuesday with sunny skies throughout the First State. Highs will range from the low 70s in the north to the mid 70s in the south.

All good things must come to an end and the summer weather will revert to spring Wednesday as showers enter the state with highs ranging from the low 60s in the north to upper 60s in the south. Rain will continue into Thursday with highs only reaching the mid 50s in the north and the upper 60s in the south.

Clouds will hang around Friday, but it should be mostly dry with highs sitting in the mid 60s throughout the state.
