Darnall stabbing: Second arrest after man seriously injured

A second person has been arrested after a 21-year-old man was seriously injured in a stabbing in Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Police said the victim was attacked on Staniforth Road in Darnall at around 18:15 BST on Tuesday.

Officers have since charged Adam Mohammed, 28, with attempted murder and, on Friday, arrested a man, aged 24, on suspicion of attempted murder.

Both are in custody and Mr Mohammed, of Acres Hill Road, Darnall, will appear at the city's crown court in May.
