Damage reported after severe storms hit Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA (KFOR) – Severe weather made its way through Oklahoma once again Saturday night.

The storms brought damaging hail, wind and tornadoes. Multiple counties across Oklahoma were affected including Garfield, Major, Dewey, Rogers, Woodward, Mayes and more.

Homes in Claremore have also been damaged after storms rolled through Rogers Co.

Multiple homes and barns have been reported damaged in storm-affected areas. It is currently unknown if or how many people were injured during the storms.

The total number of tornadoes has not been determined as storm damage is still being surveyed.

According to Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management, the State Emergency Operations Center remains activated.

The OEM is in contact with emergency managers across the state and is working with agencies and organizations including the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Oklahoma Corporation Commission, Oklahoma State Department of Health, Oklahoma National Guard, Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security, Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Oklahoma Insurance Department, Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, National Weather Service, Oklahoma American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the Oklahoma Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster.
