Cuyahoga Falls will have annual Memorial Day Parade, with ceremony to follow
The 92nd Annual Cuyahoga Falls Memorial Day Parade will begin Monday, May 27, 2024, at 9 a.m.
Portage Trail, in the area of Portage Crossing, will be closed to traffic starting at 7 a.m., with the remainder of Portage Trail from Portage Crossing to Fourth Street, Fourth Street to Oakwood Drive, and Oakwood Drive to the cemetery closing to traffic at 9 a.m.
The Memorial Day Service, which will be in the military section of Oakwood Cemetery, will follow the parade at 11 a.m.
In addition, the Cuyahoga Falls municipal buildings will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Sanitation services will be delayed one day beginning Monday, May 27, 2024. Refuse and recycling crews will work Tuesday through Saturday. Those who have questions may direct them to the sanitation department by calling 330-971-8010.
