Crime Reports: Woman says neighbor broke in to ‘curse at her’, ‘Willie Nelson’ arrested in Abilene

Incidents

2800 block of Ross Avenue – Assault Family Violence
A citizen reported someone was lying in the alley calling for help. When police found this person, he was intoxicated and had been assaulted.

700 block of Sandefer Street – Burglary of Building
A victim reported a known suspect entered his property and stole a window unit, as well as scrap metal.

1000 block of Veterans Drive – Indecent Assault
A VFW manager reported one of her employees was assaulted by a patron.

4500 block of S 1st Street – Stalking
Police took a report for stalking.

4500 block of S 1st Street – Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse
A victim reported he fell for a paypal scam and lost money.

900 block of N Judge Ely Boulevard – Forgery Financial
A victim reported an unknown suspect took a checkbook from his truck and has been cashing checks to himself.

1300 block of N Mockingbird Lane – Criminal Trespass
A suspect was caught trespassing on a property he had been warned from previously.

2400 block of N Mockingbird Lane – Theft of Property

2900 block of S 28th Street – Criminal Trespass Habitation
A victim reported her neighbor entered her home without permission to “curse at her.”

2100 block of Amy Lyn Avenue – Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying information
Police took a report for identity theft.

4200 block of Woods Place – Unlawful Restraint
A report was taken for unlawful restraint.

600 block of N Jefferson Drive – Assault
A victim reported her roommate pushed her down and injured her.

1300 block of S Danville Drive – Assault
A victim reported she was assaulted by a suspect outside of a south Abilene restaurant. CPS was called because the suspect had her children in the vehicle at the time of the assault.

1100 block of Oak Street – Assault Family Violence

1300 block of S Danville Drive – Assault
Officers investigated an assault at a west Abilene restaurant.

1900 block of Meadowbrook Drive – Assault Family Violence
Police responded to a disturbance where a victim alleged her husband pushed her and caused her pain. She had no visible injuries.

1900 block of Denton Street – Harassment
A report for harassment was taken at a south Abilene residence.

1300 block of S San Jose Drive – Criminal Mischief
A report was taken for criminal mischief in south Abilene was a TV was destroyed.

5100 block of S 7th Street – Aggravated Robbery
A report was completed for Aggravated Robbery at a south Abilene convenience store.

2500 block of S Clack Street – Aggravated Robbery
An employee at a south Abilene convenience store reported a suspect came inside and threatened them with a firearm while demanding money. The police report states the suspect became frustrated when the employee refused to open the register and told them “no”, prompting the suspect to flee.

2900 block of Old Anson Road – Aggravated Assault Deadly Weapon – FV
An aggravated assault with deadly weapon report was taken in north Abilene.
