Community invited to welcome back Honor Flight of the Quad Cities

Honor Flight of the Quad Cities traveled with 80 veterans to Washington D.C.

This was the 59th annual flight for the organization. The veterans spent the day in the nation’s capitol, visiting memorials built in their honor. This flight carried a World War II veteran, three Korean War veterans and many who were stationed in Vietnam. The group is scheduled to return
to Quad Cities International Airport around 10:00 p.m. The community is invited to welcome the group back home at the airport. Parking is free.
