Channel 2 trashes studio with toilet paper for STEM Day

DENVER (KDVR) — More than 10,000 students, teachers and parents are expected to pack Coors Field for Thursday’s game against the San Diego Padres for the 13th annual STEM Day Celebration.

Science educator Steve Spangler will host the event. He joined FOX31 and Channel 2 to show one of the over-the-top science experiments that fans will see at Thursday’s game.

The STEM celebration goes from 10:30-11:30 a.m. It includes a drone show, an over-the-top egg drop competition and a jaw-dropping surprise finale featuring the Air Force Wings of Blue.

Tickets are still available online starting at $12. Parking lots open at 9 a.m., and gates open at 9:30 a.m. The first pitch for the game is at 1:10 p.m.

The weather will be favorable for the big event, with mainly sunny skies and highs in the middle 70s. So, pack that sunscreen.
