Cathedral City police release car description in hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist

Cathedral City police are still searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed a bicyclist on Wednesday and have released a description of the car possible involved.

Officers responded to the fatal collision at 11:12 p.m. in the area of Ramon Road and Landau Boulevard. Firefighters pronounced the bicyclist, identified as a 31-year-old woman, dead at the scene.

Police said the driver’s car was possibly a 2014-2019 dark-colored Nissan Versa with major front-end damage with missing parts. Investigators are looking into leads to identify the driver and the car, police added.
