Cardinals to remain on Bally Sports despite bankruptcy

ST. LOUIS — Major League Baseball season kicks off this week. The St. Louis Cardinals are gearing up for their first regular-season game against the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Thursday. And just like last year, fans can catch all the action on Bally Sports Midwest.

However, there have been concerns about the future of Cardinals broadcasts following the bankruptcy filing of Bally’s parent company. A report from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch says that the games will remain on Bally Sports for 2024, the fate beyond that rests in the hands of the bankruptcy court.

Regardless of the outcome, Cardinals President Bill DeWitt III tells fans that the team is prepared for any changes. They are exploring options to incorporate more streaming opportunities so fans can enjoy the games no matter what happens.
