Captain Calahan Young shooting for gold in goalball

(NEXSTAR) – As captain of the USA Goalball men’s team, Calahan Young made his Paralympic Games debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games and was the team’s leading scorer with 20 goals.

Young is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana to join the USA Goalball Resident Program and has been a part of the program for eight years.

He says not placing for a medal in Tokyo’s games lives “rent-free” in his head and he’s coming to Paris to get the gold this time around.
