Being a mother is an exciting new phase but it often brings with it conditions such as postpartum depression or mommy blues. Creating dialogue and offering solutions around postpartum care for mom’s, Belyne Louis-Jacques launched Mom’s Recovery in October 2020, with a goal to provide postpartum care for moms everywhere with a self-care routine for the mind, body and soul.

Louis-Jacques says “My aim was to provide a comprehensive range of postpartum products that offer comfort, support, and practicality during the delicate recovery period after childbirth. Being a mom myself, I intimately understand the physical and emotional challenges that accompany the postpartum period. This empathy fuels my dedication to crafting solutions that genuinely address the needs of fellow women going through similar experiences.”

Her mission is to share her experience with postpartum depression and also her recovery journey as she turned to traditional holistic Haitian postpartum baths called Twa Bain.

Recovery baths are made with all-natural herbs that you soak in. Through Mom’s Recovery, Belyne Louis-Jacques offers a hybrid experience that allows moms to do the baths themselves and for as often as they need.
