Bayern Munich have lost a Bundesliga home match to Borussia Dortmund for the first time since 2014 as they were defeated 2-0 at the Allianz Arena.
Overall, this is the first time Dortmund defeat Bayern in a league game since 2018. Karim Adeyemi scored the opener in the 10th minute and Julian Ryerson put the game to bed in the 83rd.
Bayern's mission to claim a 12th consecutive title got even more difficult and they now sit 13 points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who earlier claimed a late 2-1 win against Hoffenheim.
The Munich police have increased their presence around the Allianz Arena after an user on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, said to have links with the Islamic State terrorist militia posted a picture with a target placed on spectators around the stadium.
Both the police and the German Ministry of the Interior, however, said that there were no concrete indications of a threat.
