Collins-Maxwell's Ava Pasquariello triumphed in the Ames Tribune's latest Student of the Week poll.

Pasquariello received about 89% of the votes to prevail over fellow nominee Bella Johnson of Gilbert.

Pasquariello strives to do the best she can in everything she does. She is a freshman and is already making an impact with the hard work she puts into her studies and athletics. She isn't afraid to speak up and help others and is becoming a class leader.

Last week's winner in the Ames Tribune's Student of the Week series was Zeah Rees of Collins-Maxwell.

The other nominees from the latest Student of the Week poll were:

Bella Johnson, Gilbert

Johnson is an accomplished art student. Her artwork will soon be showcased at The Octagon High School Art Show and the Racoon River Conference Art Show. Her work has been selected for the conference art show every school year, and she has been named a 2023-24 Conference Artist. Johnson has taken every art class at Gilbert High School and continues to seek out ways to learn and experiment with the art process.
