LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Students from Arkansas Virtual Academy gathered in-person Friday for an end of the year celebration.

There were eight events held Friday across the Natural State. One was held at the A.R.V.A. Onsite Learning Center on 7th Street in downtown Little Rock.

Students who usually just see their instructors and peers online got a chance to interact. There were also carnival games, food and prizes.

“It’s an opportunity for them to make connections with other kiddos and families to celebrate the end of a great year together,” Gina Moore, Parent/Family Engagement Coordinator for AR Virtual Academy said.

A.R.V.A. has been open since 2003. They said they serve more than 4,000 students representing all 75 counties.
