Anderson Scores Hat Trick; Carl Junction Wins Home Opener over McAuley Catholic

CARL JUNCTION, MO — The Carl Junction Lady Bulldogs hosted their home opener earlier this evening against McAuley Catholic.

They dominated from start to finish, winning 9-1 by way of a mercy rule. Carl Junction was leading 6-1 at halftime

Sophomore Ella Anderson scored a hat trick for the Lady Bulldogs scoring 2 goals in the first half and one in the second half.

Senior Sara Buchele scored two goals in the game as did freshman Grace Carrier who also finished with two goals.

Freshman Nevaeh Triplett & Sophomore Alaina Hurn each earned themselves a goal in the match.

Carl Junction stays undefeated on the season and improves to 3-0 on the year. Their next game will be tomorrow when they travel to face Cassville (3-0).

McAuley Catholic with College Heights Christian falls to 0-1 on the season. Their next game will be Thursday when they host Greenwood.
