Accident - March 29, 2024
Mar. 29—No injuries were reported Thursday after a parked car was struck on Highway 25 in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, a 2004 GMC Yukon, driven by Michaela T.A. Gellermann, 26, of Missouri Valley, was southbound on Highway 25, when she fell asleep and sideswiped a 2022 Ford Fleet truck, parked in the south lane, with flashing lights on due to it being parked while work was being done on the side of the road.
The Ford was unoccupied at the time of the accident.
Damage to the GMC was estimated at $2,000 and damage to the Ford was estimated at $2,500.
