AAUW honors Berks County's top high school senior girls
Apr. 7—The Reading Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) honors the top senior girls as of the first semester in all 19 Berks County high schools with a monetary honorarium. All these young women are planning to attend a four-year accredited college in the fall.
AAUW also awards graduate-level scholarships to Berks County women pursuing full- or part-time study for a graduate degree. An additional scholarship program is available for mature Berks women returning to school who are pursuing education leading to a certification, licensing or a degree at a two- or four-year accredited institution. Applications are due by May 26 and May 29, respectively. Applications are available on the AAUW Reading Branch website: reading-pa.aauw.net.
