Kern Saving Animals From Euthanasia is a collaboration between many animal welfare agencies in Kern, which include shelters and rescues, that sponsor mobile spay units.

Kandice Web, Kern County Manager of Spay Neuter Imperative Project speaks to numerous people during mobile clinic dates.

“Absolutely, a lot of people come up to me and be like, oh no, I don’t want to alter my pet, then we start talking about the health and behavioral benefits that are accomplished by doing this procedure and being a responsible pet owner. A lot of times we can go ahead and change their mind and change the narrative about what we’re out here doing,” Webb said.
