3 wanted for allegedly assaulting handicapped senior citizen and bystander

WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Police say they are attempting to identify three people who allegedly assaulted a handicapped senior citizen and a bystander who came to her defense.

On March 30 around 8:00 p.m., Wilkes-Barre Township Police say they began searching for the three people pictured below after the reported assault.

Investigators said the trio fled in a gray Nissan Pathfinder after assaulting the senior citizen and the bystander.

Police ask anyone who may know the identity of the suspects to send a private message to the Wilkes–Barre Township Police Department or call 570-208-4635 extension 436.
