3 arrested after drugs brought into Tulare County jails

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Three people were arrested after an investigation into drugs that were allegedly being brought into jails, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say on Thursday they served a search warrant in the 700 block of Rinaldi in Visalia after an investigation into drugs being brought into Tulare County Detention Facilities.

During the warrant, detectives say they arrested three people and seized four guns, 255 grams of cocaine, 137 grams of meth, 22 grams of fentanyl, and about one pound of marijuana.

Officials say they arrested 58-year-old Mary Sandling-Kinser of Visalia faces charges of possession of narcotics for sales, maintaining a place of residence for the sales of narcotics, and conspiracy to commit a crime with two or more people.

23-year-old Arthus Seals of Visalia faces charges of possession of narcotics for sales, maintaining a place of residence for the sales of narcotics, possessing a firearm while in possession of a usable amount of narcotics, conspiracy to commit a crime with two or more people, and possession of a loaded stolen firearm, according to officials.

Deputies say 31-year-old Kaileen McGarrah of Visalia faces charges of possession of narcotics for sales, maintaining a place of residence for the sales of narcotics, smuggling narcotics into a California jail, and conspiracy to commit a crime with two or more people.
