1 injured in shooting on Hegenberger Road in Oakland

(KRON) – A shooting occurred on Hegenberger Road in Oakland on Sunday, according to the Oakland Police Department.

Oakland police officers were alerted of a shooting that occurred in the 500 block of Hegenberger Road around 2 p.m. on Sunday. Responding officers found evidence of a shooting, but not a victim.

Soon after officers were notified of a gunshot wound victim who self-transported to a local hospital. According to police, the victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Felony Assault Unit at (510) 238-3426.
